A New Perspective

Through this NASA-inspired capsule, we wanted to look at our planet from a different lens. When astronauts looked back on Earth from space for the first time, you can only imagine the emotions they felt - countries look tiny, oceans look like puddles and it becomes clear that this is the only Earth we’ve got. This capsule features breathing artwork and imagery of the Earth from above. Through our NASA campaign, we will be empowering our community to both celebrate and protect our home planet.

For creative direction, I really wanted to highlight the story of seeing our home from a new perspective. Using lots of satellite imagery from Nasa’s vast image library, and using warped and scattered text to continue to push the message of seeing things differently. I used framing and colours inspired by old sci-fi aesthetics mixed with more sleek and modern elements, like our san-serif font, that connects to our modern high-tech scientific technology.
